CONSISTENCY IS KEY

I have to say that this group is the most consistent group I have ever taught. Having you show up every week, determined, and ready to "workout" is truly amazing and I'm beyond grateful.

So why is consistency so important? Think about any goals that you may have achieved. Were you consistent in reaching them? Consistency is key in achieving long term visions that we set for ourselves. By repeating the same actions over and over again, we get feedback, and can adjust when we need help staying on track.

Think about it...have you ever said "Oh I'll start next Monday..." only to find yourself giving up in the same week? I have. I set goals for myself, like eating better, slowing down a little bit, and doing more things that I love. Am I always consistent? No, I'm definitely a work in progress. I used to exercise for an hour or more everyday. Now I'm lucky to get in a half hour. But you know what? A half hour can be consistent, so can 15 minutes. There's nothing wrong with starting small and doing what you can, as long as you keep doing it.

Consistency takes time. Be patient with yourself and believe that you can do it. Remind yourself what you want to achieve, reward yourself even when the task is small, and don't beat yourself up for mistakes, that's how we learn.
