
Grooves Vs. Ruts
Isn't it a good feeling to be "in your groove?" To wake up, feel good, and know what you need to do for the day? Everyone has patterns (Samskaras) that they follow. Some may be physical things and some may be emotional, like our negative or positive thoughts.
On Sunday mornings I start to think about my week ahead. Usually I'm excited to start my week, but doing the same things over and over again can cause an emotional rut. Plus it can get pretty boring.
This week I encourage you to change up your patterns a little bit, no matter how small. Get up a little earlier or sleep in a little later, take a walk, eat something different, try a new recipe.
