
MEET THE WARRIORS
We have all faced challenges where we've had to rely on our inner strength and courage to get through. Does this make us warriors? You bet it does! Standing strong, facing our fears, willing to fight, and let go of the results, are all qualities of a warrior.
During yoga, we practice Warriors 1, 2, and 3. These are all poses that help with balance, grounding, and empowerment. We need these 3 qualities off the mat too.
Join me Monday night for Slow Flow as we move through different Warrior sequences for courage and resilience.
Tuesday's in Flow and Unwind we have been practicing different Salutations than the typical Sun Salutations. We've done Space and Fire Salutations, and this week, we will be doing a Water Salutation with a fun water playlist.
Wednesday in Gentle Yoga we will be honoring our Dharma or purpose in life with a Dharma Meditation.
Barrelates and Barre this week will be lots of abs, thighs, arms, and booty work, as usual. 😊
*Lastly, I have added a Kickboxing Barre class on Friday May 20th at 5:30pm in the Lounge (that's our usual room). We will be punching and kicking, as well as adding in Barre combos like plies, squats, and lunges. This is a fun class, a major calorie burn, and a lot of standing abs! Weights, balls, gliders, and bands may be used. Equipment will be provided. Typically I do this workout barefoot, but wearing shoes is totally fine.
