Set a habit for spring

Happy Spring! The Spring Equinox starts today at 11:33 am. This means there will be roughly 12 hours of daylight and 12 hours of darkness.

The change in seasons is a great time to try something new, start a new habit, and make it a goal. Spring is a season of rebirth, growth, and renewal. Is there something that you've been wanting to try but haven't yet? Now is the time.

My goal is to try to meditate everyday, even if only for a few minutes. I've been practicing, and I have to admit, it's not easy. Finding the time can be challenging and let's face it, relaxation is not always accessible. Sometimes my mind is a train wreck of thoughts, my heart is racing, and there are interruptions on the daily (kids, husband, cats, phone calls), I know everyone can relate. But, I have noticed a shift in energy, a sense of overall peace, and even if I feel like it was a failure, I know deep down it wasn't. There is a lesson to be learned in everything.

Set a goal for yourself, no matter how small, and use Spring as your timeline.
